This experience allows him to collaborate closely with directors or, where appropriate, take on the combined role of Director and Director of Photography.

With experience as a Producer,‍ ‍Gaffer, 1st AC, Colourist and Sound Designer, Alan understands how every department contributes to the finished film. This broader production knowledge allows him to light efficiently, collaborate across departments and make creative decisions that support the entire production rather than just the camera.

Recognised internationally for his lighting on Two Shots, Alan creates naturalistic yet cinematic lighting across narrative films, commercials, documentaries, music videos and branded content.

Alan offers a professional camera and lighting package including cinema cameras, vintage and modern lenses, professional lighting, wireless video transmission and grip equipment, providing productions with an efficient, production ready solution.

Proven Narrative Experience

Alan's work includes the internationally award winning Two Shots, award recognised ONTIC, and Blvck Gold, where he served as Aerial Director of Photography on a production that screened at Academy Award and BAFTA qualifying festivals.
